Permission to reside in Bulgaria for up to one year is granted if you are married to a Bulgarian, if you are studying there, if you have a work permit and guaranteed full time work contract, or if you have own local company with minimum ten local employee. To get permanent residence is more longer process - you can ask Passport Office Service (phone 00359 (0)2 9823764)
