Nasko, Naska and their kids are just wonderful! I've spent the best time in Bulgarian countryside with them, giving my soul a peace I needed. Hot baths in the night, excercises on the grassfield in the morning and talking about eveything that is most important in life... It was just wonderful! I hope I will be able to visit you next time, friends, and see how you are! :)

Nasko and Naska and their adorable children, horse, dog, bees, garden, simple life, philosophy, food, music, and on and on were a great retreat for us for 2 days. We definitely want to come back. We learned so much from them, even if we are nearly twice their age. We are better for having met them. Thank you so much for the wonderful time! Now, keep singing and smiling, and remembering this couple that loves you from Idaho, USA. HUGS! (Shelley, United States)

I spend one interesting afternoon and morning with Nasko, Naska and their kids - it was a privilage to feel warm, tranquil rural life in a remote village I would never wisit otherwise. I learnt some bulgarian words from their doughter, went to a night bath under the stars in warm spring which was just perfect...
They are very hospitable and uncomplicated people with a lot to share and learn from.
Thank you for a memorable stay and I wish you all the best. Take care! -
Thank you for your friendly welcome and stay at your organic home and life style.
You two got us so excited about Bulgaria with your tips of places to visit we had leave and see everything. We would have loved to spend a day in your garden with Naskoa , Helping her. The hot spring was an amazing adventure in the middle of the night, one that we will never forget, a very special place indeed. Cheers -
Everything about our experience was EXTREME (especially the puzzles)!! Nastko is a very interesting person, he lives in a wonderful place and surrounds himself with wonderful people, like his family and friends. Thank you for making us feel so at home...we really wish we had more time in Ivan Vasovo!

Atanas is a very interesting person. I and 2 friends, stayed in his village house for a couple of nights Atanas is very energetic and into extreme sports (big time). It’s a pleasure to hear him talk about the various extreme spots he has done and kind of makes you want to start doing them also! We where lucky enough to eat a great meal and homemade bread that his wife prepared and met his lovely family. Atanas is a great host

Besides outdoor adventures tours, Atanas hosts volunteers at his farm as part of Help Exchange / WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms).
Guests get to stay in their own quaint farmhouse. Like other houses in Ivan Vazovo Village, it is built in the traditional Bulgarian style, but with modern amenities---including internet access!
Here we spend several hours a day helping his wife Naska in the fruit and vegetable garden, doing things such as weeding, cutting hay, mulching and setting up vine supports.
Naska then includes the harvest in the meals that she often cooks for us in their home.
There's lots to see and do in the area. These include hiking up the surrounding hills. On top of one of these is a huge boulder formation (I couldn't tell if it was natural or made by an ancient civilization).
We also went swimming and fishing in a nearby stream.
For a change of scenery, visitors can take the local train to Karlovo, a charming town at the foothill of a mountain range.
And in the other direction is the city of Plovdiv with its cafes, discos, shops, traditional architecture and Roman ruins.
Ivan Vazovo Village would be a nice place to settle and live. Indeed, that is exactly what several outsiders have done.
